Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking.
By completing a booking through our website, you confirm that you have read
and accepted the Terms & Conditions and the cancellation policy applicable
to the service you have selected.

2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to tours, excursions, cruises, transfers, tickets,
accommodation arrangements and other travel-related services offered through
www.hopin.gr.
Certain services may have additional or different conditions.
Where a specific product page, booking form, supplier condition or booking
voucher contains a specific cancellation, amendment, participation or
operational condition, that specific condition will apply to that booking
to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights that you have under
applicable Greek or European consumer and travel legislation.
3. Making a Booking
When making a booking, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate
information, including your name, email address, telephone number and any
information required for the service you have selected.
Please check all booking details carefully before completing your purchase,
including:
- tour or service selected;
- departure date;
- number and category of passengers;
- pickup or meeting point arrangements;
- optional services selected;
- price;
- cancellation and amendment conditions.
A booking is considered confirmed when the applicable payment requirements
have been satisfied and Hop in Sightseeing issues a booking confirmation
or voucher, unless the product expressly states that further supplier
confirmation is required.
Certain services may require additional information or acknowledgement after
the booking. Where this applies, instructions will be included in your
confirmation or booking voucher.
4. Booking on Behalf of Other Passengers
If you make a booking on behalf of another person or a group, you confirm
that you are authorised to provide the necessary information and make the
booking on their behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring that all passengers included in the booking
are informed of the relevant booking conditions, itinerary, meeting point,
departure time, cancellation policy and any other important information.
5. Prices
Prices are displayed in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated and may vary
according to the service, travel date, availability, passenger category
and options selected.
Applicable taxes are included in the displayed price unless clearly stated
otherwise before payment.
The final price of your booking, including any selected options or additional
services, will be shown before payment is completed.
Certain promotional, discounted, coupon or special-rate bookings may be
non-refundable. Where this applies, the non-refundable condition will be
displayed before the booking is completed.
6. Currency Conversion and Bank Charges
Transactions are processed in Euro (€).
If your bank account or payment card uses another currency, your bank or
card provider may apply its own currency conversion rate or foreign transaction
fees.
Such conversion rates and charges are determined by your bank or payment
provider and are outside the control of Hop in Sightseeing.
7. Payments
The payment methods currently available will be displayed during checkout.
Depending on the selected service, full payment may be required at the time
of booking or another payment arrangement may be specifically offered.
Payment must be successfully authorised before a booking can be treated as
paid.
Payment transactions may be processed by independent banks and payment
service providers in accordance with their applicable terms and security
procedures.
8. What’s Included
The services included in your booking are those specifically stated on the
relevant product page and booking confirmation.
Depending on the service, inclusions may include transportation, guiding,
entrance tickets, meals, accommodation, cruise services, transfers or other
services.
If a service or item is not specifically listed as included, you should not
assume that it forms part of the booking.
9. What’s Not Included
Unless specifically stated as included in the product description, the
following may be at the traveller’s own expense:
- personal expenses;
- food and drinks;
- entrance fees;
- gratuities;
- optional excursions or activities;
- personal travel insurance;
- additional transportation;
- other services not expressly included in the booked itinerary.
Because inclusions vary between products, please always check the specific
product description before completing your booking.
10. General Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to
[email protected]
and must be confirmed by Hop in Sightseeing.
Unless a different cancellation policy is clearly displayed for the product
before purchase, the following general cancellation conditions apply:
- 10 days or more before departure:
100% of the eligible booking amount is refundable, subject to the
applicable processing fee described below. - 5–9 days before departure:
50% of the eligible booking amount is refundable, subject to the
applicable processing fee described below. - 0–4 days before departure:
No refund. - No-show:
No refund.
Where a refund is due under the applicable cancellation policy, a
€15 processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend
on your bank or payment provider.
11. Product-Specific Cancellation Policies
Some tours, tickets, cruises, accommodation arrangements, special offers,
promotional rates or services supplied by third parties may have different
cancellation conditions.
Some products may be completely non-refundable.
Where a product-specific cancellation policy is displayed before payment
and included in the booking information or voucher, that policy applies
to that product instead of the general cancellation policy above.
We strongly recommend reviewing the cancellation policy shown on the relevant
product page before completing your booking.
12. Changing Your Booking Date
Unless different conditions are stated for the booked product, requests to
change the booked departure date must be submitted in writing to
[email protected]
at least 2 days before the scheduled departure date.
A €35 administration fee per booking applies to booking-date
changes.
All changes are subject to availability.
A requested change is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation
from Hop in Sightseeing.
Where a supplier or product has different amendment conditions, those
conditions will apply where they were disclosed as part of the booking.
13. No-Shows and Late Arrival
It is the passenger’s responsibility to arrive at the confirmed meeting
point or pickup point at the time stated in the booking confirmation or
voucher.
Passengers are strongly advised to arrive before the stated meeting time
and to follow any specific arrival instructions included in their booking.
Failure to arrive at the correct location in sufficient time may be treated
as a no-show.
No refund is provided for a no-show or for a service missed because a
passenger arrived late or went to an incorrect meeting point, except where
otherwise required by applicable law.
14. Once a Tour or Service Has Started
No refund is normally provided for any part of a service that a passenger
chooses not to use after the tour, cruise, excursion or other booked service
has commenced.
This includes voluntarily leaving a tour early or not using an included
service, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.
15. Cancellations by Hop in Sightseeing or a Supplier
Tours, cruises and other travel services may occasionally need to be cancelled
for operational, safety, weather-related or other reasons.
If a booked service is cancelled before it begins and cannot be provided,
we will normally offer, as appropriate:
- an alternative departure date;
- an alternative service of appropriate value; or
- a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service.
The specific remedy may depend on the circumstances, the type of service,
the applicable supplier conditions and any mandatory rights available to
the traveller under applicable law.
16. Weather and Unavoidable Circumstances
Passenger safety is our priority. Tours, cruises and other services may be
changed, delayed, rescheduled or cancelled when weather, sea conditions,
strikes, road closures, government measures, natural events or other
unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances make the planned operation
unsafe or impracticable.
Where a service does not start because it is cancelled for such reasons,
we will provide the refund, rescheduling or alternative arrangements required
by the applicable booking conditions and applicable law.
Hop in Sightseeing is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by
a traveller as a consequence of circumstances outside our control except
to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Changes to Itineraries
Published itineraries, timings and routes are prepared in good faith based
on the information available at the time.
Reasonable changes may occasionally be necessary because of traffic,
weather, port conditions, strikes, archaeological-site restrictions,
operational requirements, safety considerations or circumstances outside
our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will endeavour to preserve the principal elements and
overall character of the booked service.
If a significant change occurs before departure, customers will be informed
as soon as reasonably possible and will be offered any alternatives or
remedies required under the applicable booking conditions and applicable law.
18. Pickup and Transfer Services
Pickup and transfer arrangements vary according to the tour or service.
Please refer to the individual product page and your booking confirmation.
Where a pickup service is selected, you must provide accurate accommodation
details and monitor the email address supplied during booking for confirmed
pickup information.
Pickup times may be provided as a time or time window depending on the
service.
If your hotel, apartment or accommodation cannot be directly served,
an alternative nearby pickup point may be assigned.
19. Children and Minors
Child and infant prices and age categories vary between tours, cruises and
other services.
The applicable passenger categories and prices are displayed on the relevant
product page or booking form.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless the particular
service expressly permits otherwise.
The accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision and safety of
the minor throughout the service.
20. Accessibility and Special Requirements
Customers with reduced mobility, accessibility requirements or other
specific needs are encouraged to contact us before booking so that we can
provide information about the suitability of the relevant service.
Accessibility varies between coaches, vessels, archaeological sites,
monasteries, islands and other locations included in our services.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and assist
where possible, but some services or locations may have physical or
operational limitations.
21. Health and Participation
Passengers are responsible for considering whether a tour or activity is
suitable for their personal circumstances.
Certain excursions may involve walking, stairs, uneven surfaces, heat,
boat travel or other physical activity.
If you have a condition or requirement that may materially affect your
ability to participate safely, please contact us before booking so that
we can provide available information about the service.
22. Clothing and Religious Sites
Certain monasteries, churches and religious sites may require visitors to
follow specific dress requirements.
Where a dress code is relevant to a tour, information may be provided on
the product page, booking confirmation or voucher.
Passengers are responsible for complying with the rules imposed by the
site being visited. Admission may be refused by the relevant site where
its rules are not followed.
23. Luggage and Personal Belongings
Luggage allowances may vary according to the type of tour, coach, transfer,
cruise or supplier.
If you intend to travel with large or unusual luggage, please contact us
before booking.
Passengers remain responsible for their personal possessions, including
phones, cameras, bags, documents, money and other valuables.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist with locating lost property,
but cannot guarantee that lost or forgotten items will be recovered.
24. Travel Insurance
We recommend that travellers consider appropriate travel insurance for
their trip, including, where appropriate, cover for cancellation, medical
expenses, personal belongings and travel disruption.
Any insurance specifically included in a service will be described in the
relevant product information or provided by the applicable service provider.
25. Third-Party Suppliers
Some travel services offered through www.hopin.gr are provided wholly or
partly by independent suppliers, such as tour operators, cruise companies,
transportation providers, accommodation providers or other travel businesses.
Depending on the particular booking, Hop in Sightseeing may act as a service
provider, organiser, retailer or intermediary.
Where we act solely as an intermediary for a standalone service, the
supplier’s applicable conditions may also form part of the booking.
Where applicable Greek or European law treats Hop in Sightseeing as the
organiser or otherwise imposes responsibility on us for the proper
performance of travel services, nothing in these Terms excludes or reduces
those mandatory obligations.
26. Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements
Certain combinations of travel services may qualify as a package or linked
travel arrangement under applicable Greek and European travel legislation.
Where a booking falls within that legislation, the traveller will benefit
from the mandatory rights and protections applicable to that type of booking.
These Terms do not exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory rights that
apply to package travel or linked travel arrangements.
27. Right of Withdrawal for Dated Travel and Leisure Services
Certain travel, ticket and leisure services booked for a specific date or
period may be excluded from the standard statutory 14-day withdrawal right
that applies to some online consumer contracts.
Where the legal exception applies, cancellation of the booking is governed
by the cancellation policy disclosed for the booked service rather than by
a general 14-day cooling-off period.
This does not affect any separate mandatory cancellation or termination
rights that may apply under package-travel legislation or other applicable law.
28. Our Responsibility
Hop in Sightseeing will provide its own services with reasonable care and
skill and will comply with obligations imposed on it by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability
cannot legally be excluded or limited.
In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit
mandatory consumer rights or liability for personal injury, fraud,
intentional misconduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where liability may legally be limited, any limitation will apply only to
the extent permitted by applicable Greek and European law and any applicable
international convention.
29. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- providing accurate booking and contact information;
- checking their booking confirmation and voucher;
- checking email, including spam or junk folders, for operational information;
- arriving at the correct meeting point on time;
- following reasonable instructions from guides, drivers, crew and service providers;
- complying with the rules of archaeological sites, museums, vessels, hotels and other venues;
- behaving in a manner that does not endanger or seriously disturb other passengers, staff or third parties.
30. Refusal or Termination of Participation
For safety and operational reasons, a passenger may be refused participation
or required to leave a service where their behaviour presents a serious
safety risk, materially disrupts the service, threatens or abuses staff or
other passengers, or seriously violates applicable rules.
Any action under this section will be taken reasonably and subject to
applicable law.
31. Website Use
You may use www.hopin.gr only for lawful purposes and for legitimate
personal or business enquiries and bookings.

availability accurate and up to date.
However, technical, typographical or availability errors may occasionally
occur.

booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and handle the
matter in accordance with applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or free
from technical errors.
34. Booking and Service Communications

manage and fulfil that booking.
These service communications may include booking confirmations, vouchers,
pickup instructions, meeting-point information, schedule changes and other
important information relating to your reservation.

.

36. Complaints
If you experience a problem during a tour or other service, please inform
the guide, representative, supplier or Hop in Sightseeing as soon as reasonably
possible so that an opportunity is available to address the issue.
After the service, complaints may be submitted to:
Hop in Sightseeing – Customer Care
Email: [email protected]
Telephone: +30 210 4285500
Please provide your booking number and sufficient information for us to
investigate the matter.
37. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek law.
Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer residing in another country
of any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to them under
applicable law.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction determined by applicable
law, including any mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
38. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or
unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent
necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
39. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes
to our services, business practices or applicable law.
The Terms that apply to a booking are those made available in connection
with that booking at the relevant time, subject to any mandatory legal rights.
The current version of these Terms will be published on this page together
with the date of the latest update.
