What to Expect – Itinerary:

Day 1: Delphi – Meteora
Firstly, we begin with the morning departure from Athens City on our way to Delphi Archaeological Site. It is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for having had a phenomenal influence in the Ancient world. After that, on our way to Delphi Archaeological Site, along the main highway, we pass by Thebes the Kingdom of Oedipus, driving with our Professional Guide.

Furthermore, as we pass through the picturesque Arachova Village we will arrive at the Delphi Archaeological Site. Correspondingly known as “the Navel of the Earth”, it is where you will have the opportunity to admire all the renowned ruins of the “Omphalos” (Navel) of the Ancient world. You will feel the mystery in the Temple of Apollo in Delphi (that you can visit on your own). Here is where Pythia delivered her prophecies while seated on her tripod.

One of the most beautiful places in Greece. Amazing monasteries architecture, better landscape.

Great trip, but a bit rushed at times

Really enjoyed the places we visited—Delphi and Meteora are both stunning. The bus was comfortable and the guide was friendly and informative. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I wish we had more time at the Delphi museum. But overall, a well-organized and memorable tour.

The scenery at Meteora is out of this world and Delphi is full of cool history. Our guide was really good at explaining things in an interesting way. Only small downside was the long drive back, but that’s to be expected. Would definitely recommend to friends.

This tour was amazing from start to finish. Delphi was full of history and the views at Meteora were just breathtaking. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made everything really engaging. The hotel in Kalambaka was clean and comfy. Honestly, I’d do this again in a heartbeat.
