🗺️ What to Expect – Itinerary

🏛️ Day 1: Athens – Delphi Archaeological Site

Depart from Athens and travel through the fertile plain of Boeotia, passing Thebes and Livadia before continuing toward Mount Parnassus and Delphi, considered by the ancient Greeks to be the center of the world.

Set on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Delphi was one of the most important religious centers of the ancient Greek world. Walk along the Sacred Way and visit the Treasury of the Athenians before reaching the Temple of Apollo, where the priestess Pythia delivered the prophecies of the famous Oracle of Delphi. Higher on the slope, the Ancient Theater overlooks the sanctuary and the surrounding mountain landscape.

Continue with a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, which houses some of the most important finds discovered at the sanctuary. Among its highlights are the famous bronze Charioteer of Delphi, the Sphinx of Naxos, the statue of Antinous, the Omphalos and an impressive collection of sculptures, votive offerings and architectural remains.

Together, the archaeological site and museum reveal the religious, political and artistic importance that Delphi held throughout the ancient Greek world.

The afternoon is free to enjoy Delphi at your own pace, take photographs and spend more time surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Mount Parnassus.

⛰️ Day 2: Delphi – Athens

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free morning in Delphi.
Take the opportunity to explore more of the area, enjoy the mountain scenery or simply relax and take photographs before departing for Athens.

Begin the return to Athens along the same route, passing Arachova, a traditional mountain village built on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Known for its stone houses, narrow streets, local products and mountain setting, Arachova is one of the best-known villages in central Greece.

Continue through Livadia and Thebes before arriving in Athens city, marking the end of the 2-day Delphi tour.
