Day 1: Delphi Archaeological Site – Arachova Village
Delphi Archaeological Site is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for having had a phenomenal influence on the ancient world. On our way to Delphi Archaeological Site, we travel along the main highway with our professional guide, passing through landscapes rich in mythology, including Thebes the Kingdom of Oedipus.

Our first stop is the Delphi Archaeological Site, once known as the “Navel of the Earth”. We then visit the Delphi Archaeological Museum, which houses an impressive collection of artifacts from ancient Delphi. Among its highlights are the Bronze Charioteer, the statue of Antinous, and the Ancient Sanctuary. You will also have the opportunity to admire the renowned ruins of the “Omphalos”, the Navel of the Ancient World.

Feel the mystical atmosphere at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, where the priestess Pythia once delivered her prophecies while seated on her sacred tripod.
Just opposite, you can admire the Ancient Theater offering stunning views over the Delphi Archaeological Site.

Later, near Delphi Archaeological Site, we visit the Arachova Village, which is a traditional Greek village known for its famous handmade carpets. Arachova Village is located on the slopes of Parnassus Mountain at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Because of its panoramic view, uphill small houses, and cobbled streets, during the last decade, it has been transformed into a cosmopolitan center especially during the winter season.

The high altitude as well as the traditional architecture make Arachova Village one of the most picturesque mountain villages in Greece. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore at your own pace. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Delphi – Athens
Enjoy a free morning to explore the Delphi Archaeological Site at your own pace or relax and take in the unique atmosphere of this historic location.

In the afternoon, depart for Athens and return to the city, bringing your memorable journey through Ancient Greece to a close.
