This 5-Day / 4-Night Classical Greece Tour takes you through some of the country’s greatest archaeological, historical, and cultural treasures, including five UNESCO World Heritage-listed destinations: Mycenae, Epidaurus, Ancient Olympia, Delphi, and Meteora.
Explore the atmospheric ruins of Mycenae Archaeological Site, one of the great fortified centers of Mycenaean civilization. Mycenae is closely connected with the legendary Twelve Labors of Hercules, performed under the orders of King Eurystheus of Mycenae. Admire the world-famous Lion’s Gate, the Tomb of King Agamemnon, and the remains of the ancient palace.
Discover the magnificent Epidaurus Ancient Theater, built in the 4th century BC and celebrated for its remarkable acoustics. The theater forms part of the Sanctuary of Asklepios, one of the most important healing centers of the ancient world, dedicated to Asklepios, the Greek god of healing.
At Delphi Archaeological Site, discover the place once regarded as the “Center of the Ancient World” and the “Navel of the Earth.” Explore the Temple of Apollo and visit the Delphi Archaeological Museum, home to exceptional treasures including the famous Bronze Charioteer and the Sphinx of Naxos.
Complete the experience at the spectacular Meteora Monasteries, where centuries-old monasteries stand high on enormous rock formations. Discover their Orthodox monastic heritage, Byzantine art, religious icons, wall paintings, and priceless historical treasures surrounded by one of Greece’s most unforgettable landscapes.
What to expect – Itinerary:
Day 1: Athens City – Corinth Canal – Epidaurus – Nauplion City
Depart from Athens city and travel along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, where we make a short stop to admire this impressive waterway connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
Continue to the Epidaurus Ancient Theater, one of the best-preserved theaters of the ancient world and renowned for its remarkable acoustics. Built in the 4th century BC, the theater forms part of the wider Sanctuary of Asklepios, one of antiquity’s most important centers of healing.
The route then takes us to picturesque Nauplion, the first capital of modern Greece.
Enjoy a free afternoon to explore Nauplion at your own pace, stroll through the charming streets of its historic Old Town, and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful seaside city.
Dinner and overnight stay in Nauplion.
Day 2: Nauplion City – Mycenae Archaeological Site – Olympia
Explore the remains of this powerful fortified city and see some of its most famous monuments, including the Lion’s Gate, the remains of the ancient palace, and the Tomb of King Agamemnon.
Mycenae is also closely connected with Greek mythology and the legendary Twelve Labors of Hercules, performed under the orders of King Eurystheus of Mycenae.
After the visit, travel through the Central Peloponnese, passing through the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis, before reaching Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games.
Dinner and overnight stay in Olympia.
Day 3: Ancient Olympia Archaeological Site – Rion-Antirion – Nafpaktos – Itea – Delphi
Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the Ancient Olympia Archaeological Site, including the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus and the Ancient Stadium. The tour then continues with a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Olympia.
From there, travel through the plains of Ilia and Achaia before reaching the impressive Rion-Antirion Bridge, which crosses the Corinthian Gulf.
The route continues past Nafpaktos, historically known as Lepanto, and Itea, before arriving in Delphi.
Set on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Delphi was one of the most important religious centers of the ancient Greek world and was once regarded as the “Navel of the Earth.” Explore the ancient sanctuary and the Temple of Apollo, where the priestess Pythia delivered the famous prophecies of the Oracle of Delphi.
At the museum, admire important treasures from ancient Delphi, including the Bronze Charioteer, the Sphinx of Naxos, and the statue of Antinous.
After the guided tour of the archaeological site and museum, depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the extraordinary rock formations of Meteora.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kalambaka.
Day 5: Meteora Monasteries – Thermopylae – Athens City
Start the morning with breakfast at the hotel before setting out for the spectacular Meteora Monasteries, standing high on enormous rock formations above the surrounding landscape.
Meteora has been an important center of Orthodox monastic life for centuries. Explore these remarkable monasteries and discover priceless historical and religious treasures, together with impressive examples of Byzantine art, religious icons, and wall paintings preserved within this extraordinary setting.
After the visit, begin the return route through Central Greece, passing through the towns of Trikala and Lamia.
At Thermopylae, make a short stop to view Leonidas’ Monument from across the road, commemorating the Spartan king and the famous Battle of Thermopylae.
Return to Athens city, arriving in the early evening, marking the end of the 5-Day Classical Greece and Meteora Tour.

Everything about this tour was excellent. The organization, the guide, the destinations—it all came together perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour from start to finish. The combination of historical sites and natural beauty made it a truly memorable experience. The guide was fantastic and added so much value with their explanations. The bus was modern and comfortable, and the included services made everything very convenient. Meteora was definitely the highlight, with its incredible views and peaceful atmosphere.
